The 2025 Black Authors Masterclass (BAMC) Series has officially concluded—and what a powerful year it’s been! This year’s cohort of aspiring Black authors showed up with purpose, passion, and dedication, engaging in in-person masterclasses and virtual check-ins that guided them from idea to execution—culminating in powerful works-in-progress and published releases.
For those unfamiliar, the Black Authors Masterclass (BAMC) is a hands-on program that walks aspiring authors through the full self-publishing journey. From writing and structuring your manuscript to designing, publishing, and marketing your book, the program equips you with the tools, resources, and community support to bring your story to life—all while celebrating the richness of Black authorship.
Up next is the Black Authors Summit on Saturday, August 9, 2025, where we’ll honor the voices and accomplishments of this year’s authors. Writers, readers, and literary supporters will come together to celebrate Black storytelling in all its forms.
