Now in its third year, the Black Authors Summit is a vibrant gathering that celebrates the voices and stories of Black writers. Hosted by Symone Tucker and presented by O.B.F.C. and B.A.M.C. in partnership with Grassrootz Bookstore, this special edition highlights first-time authors who emerged from our Black Authors Masterclass—turning powerful personal stories into published work.
Attendees will enjoy author spotlights, live readings, and real conversations about the path to authorship. Whether you're just starting your writing journey or looking to connect with other creatives, this summit is for you.

As part of our Amplifying Potential initiative, we’re excited to continue our Monthly Mentor & Mentee Bonding events—designed to deepen connection, build character, and create space for shared growth.
Whether it’s a hike, a movie night, or a meaningful conversation, these gatherings offer intentional time for mentors and mentees to strengthen their relationships through engaging and purposeful experiences.
We’re kicking things off with a fun outing at Arizona Mills Mall on Saturday, July 19, 2025!
